PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front passenger seat airbag device capable of smoothly protecting a passenger moving obliquely forward by an airbag completed with inflation.SOLUTION: An airbag 15 is configured such that a rear surface side thereof when the airbag 15 is completely inflated serves as a passenger protection part 32 that can protect a passenger, the passenger protection part 32 comprises: a front-collision constraint surface 33 that can protect a head MH of a passenger MH moving forward during a front collision of a vehicle; and an oblique-collision constraint surface 34 which is formed so as to project from the front-collision constraint surface 33 backward on the left of the front-collision constraint surface 33 in such a manner as to be able to protect the head MH of the passenger MH moving obliquely forward during an oblique collision or an offset collision of the vehicle, and a constraint recessed part 35 is provided between the front-collision constraint surface 33 and the oblique-collision constraint surface 34 to be recessed forward so that the head MH of the passenger MP is caused to enter the constraint recessed part 35 and is constrained therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 |
