PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance training apparatus that has suppressed the risk of a decrease in training efficiency.SOLUTION: A balance training apparatus (100) includes: a storage part (34) for storing a disturbance motion pattern that deteriorates stability of an inverted state of an inverted two-wheel vehicle (10) in association with a moving distance Dm of the inverted two-wheel vehicle (10) by the disturbance motion pattern; a motion pattern selection part (35) for selecting a disturbance motion pattern to be sent to the inverted two-wheel vehicle (10) as a command; and a distance calculation part (33) for calculating a front distance d1 from the inverted two-wheel vehicle (10) to the outer edge of a training range (At1) in front of the inverted two-wheel vehicle (10) and a rear distance d2 from the inverted two-wheel vehicle to the outer edge of the training range (At1) at the rear of the inverted two-wheel vehicle.
