PURPOSE: A domain name registration proxy service system and a method thereof are provided so that people, who are not living in the English-speaking community, can acquire and use their native words substantially identical to previously registered English domain names in meaning as their own domain names. CONSTITUTION: A domain server(10), connected to a domestic domain registration institute server(16) and an international domain registration institute server(15), exchanges retrieval application information, retrieval confirmation information, registration application information and registration confirmation information with them. The domain server(10) is also connected with a member DB(14) and a settlement system(13). The member DB(14) stores member information. The settlement system(13) is provided to receive domain registration proxy expenses from applicants or to give commissions to domain registration institutes. A domain registration site(11) operated and managed by the domain server(10) has a search window to support native tongue domain retrieval and registration for generic people. |
