MICRO WAVE OSCILLATION UNIT

摘要

PURPOSE:To make a micro wave oscillation unit small-size and cheap by placing a plane circuit oscillator inside a waveguide and by connecting this oscillator to the waveguide by a ridge in respect to the micro wave oscillation unit using a high- frequency transistor Tr such as a GaAsFET. CONSTITUTION:Plane circuit oscillator 100 is connected to the inside of waveguide 11 equipped with flange 12 by trapezoid or tapered ridge 13 which has the height reduced toward the advance direction of the micro wave output of oscillator 100. The maximum height of ridge 13 is made equal approximately to the value obtained by subtracting the thickness of oscillator 100 from the distance between E faces of waveguide 11.
