摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering a transition metal selected from the group comprising ruthenium, platinum, palladium and cobalt from a salt- containing reacted mixture in a process using a transition metal catalyst. SOLUTION: A salt with a transition metal compound and organic impurities is separated from a reacted mixture and conveyed to a combustion zone, a flue gas-salt mixture discharged from the combustion zone is quenched with water and transition metal-containing combustion residue is separated from the resulting quenching salt water, dried and reutilized as raw material for producing a catalyst. Sodium chloride isolated by this method can be used in an electrolytic soda process by a mercury process.</p>
