摘要 A measuring cell for the spectrum analysis of flowing media, especially molten plastics, in which the medium to be analysed flows between two opposite windows (4, 5) of radiation-transparent material and a beam of radiation passes through it, whereby at least one window is held in a tube (23) fitted in a bore in the measuring cell body (1) and sealed against said tube, which can be axially moved towards or away from the second window, whereby the gap between the windows and thus the thickness of the layer of the medium to be irradiated may vary. In the region of the seal, the tube's steplessly cylindrical outer surface lies directly against the wall of the bore and, when extended, has an oversize in relation to the bore. The wall thickness of the tube, at least in the seal region, is small as against its outside diameter. A layer of adhesive (24, 25) is applied in an annular space between the inside of the tube and the outside of the window.
