The "Emergency Vehicle Traffic Signal Control" is simply a device that enables emergency vehicles such as ambulance, fire, and police to automatically control traffic signals at an intersection to safely direct the flow of traffic and better accommodate the driver of the emergency vehicle to proceed through a given intersection in a much safer capacity and in much less time than currently is occurring. Faster response to the scene of an emergency will save billions of dollars in property losses; but more importantly will save lives and decrease injury complications. This device will also greatly enhance the safety of all emergency vehicle personnel, motorists and pedestrians. One feature incorporated in the "Emergency Vehicle Traffic Signal Contro l" is that is fully capable of controlling traffic lights in the same pattern that is currently occurring. There are no extra outward signals required, appearing to the public motorist and/or pedestrian. Therefore, the general public needs no teaching as to the function of the new system, thus reducing startup costs.
