PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve not only the point at issue such that pressure welding bonded surfaces become two places in a conventional pressure welding system wherein a tubular joint is arranged between the mutually opposed end surfaces of resin pipes to be rotated and the end surfaces of the resin pipes are mutually welded and bonded by the frictional heat generated at this time but also the point at issue such that the treatment of pressure welding burr is troublesome. SOLUTION: A flat plate made of a thermoplastic resin is arranged between the mutually opposed end surfaces of thermoplastic resin pipes and rotated to mutually weld and bond the resin pipes by the frictional heat generated at this time. The molten flat plate is extruded from the pressure welding surface of the resin pipes at this time and the pressure welding bonded surface is restricted to one place. The flat plate is moved in the axial direction of the resin pipes at the time of pressure welding to form pressure welding burr good in shape.
