PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a cyclopropanecarboxylic acid amide compound can be produced in excellent yield by carrying out a reaction in the presence of a compound of a group 3 element of the periodic table. SOLUTION: This method for producing cyclopropanecarboxylic acid amides represented by general formula (3) is characterized in that cyclopropanecarboxylic acid esters represented by general formula (1) are reacted with amines represented by general formula (2) R7-NH2 (2) in the presence of a compound of a group 3 element of the periodic table.
