PURPOSE:To read each image so that an optional mark can be easily imprinted on a recording paper by adjusting the position of the image of the drawn mark in a main scanning direction in accordance with the condition based on each data on a specified imprinting position and a variable power rate and reading the image. CONSTITUTION:The optional mark is drawn on a recording medium 1 with, for example, a fiber-tipped pen, etc., the imprinting position on the recording paper for recording the image of the mark is specified, and also, the variable power rate of the image of the mark with reference to the recording paper is calculated based on the size of an area 4b of the imprinting position. Then, the image reader 27 is moved so as to read the image of the original placed on an original platen 4, succeedingly, the position of the image of the mark which is drawn on the image reader 27 and/or the recording medium 1 in a main scanning direction is adjusted and then, the image of the mark is read. Thus, each image is read so that the optional mark is easily imprinted on the recording paper. |
