PURPOSE:To obtain a calcium-rich food and a food for the prevention of arteriosclerosis, from egg shell, with a simple apparatus, by grinding egg shell under acidic condition, and at a proper timing, seasoning the ground shell. CONSTITUTION:Egg shells are thrown into vinegar, and when the shells begin to soften, the shell membranes, shells, and attached vinegar are ground with a stone mortar together to obtain a viscous material from the egg shell. When the mortar is rotated at a high speed, the sharp acidic taste of vinegar is mitigated and softened. The viscous material thus obtained is seasoned with a sweetener to obtain a processed food paste made from egg shell and suitable for taking by spreading on bread. |
