PURPOSE:To carry out stable cleaning by making the frictional resistance of the outer peripheries of both end parts of a photosensitive drum lower than that of the central part. CONSTITUTION:In the photosensitive drum 1, Teflon-coating is applied to the outer peripheries of its both end parts so that their frictional resistance is reduced compared with that of the central part. The regions of fixed length 2a and 2b are Teflon-coated, in other words, they are out of the developed region of the photosensitive drum 1. Thus, both end parts of the photosensitive body 1 are Teflon-coated to reduce the frictional resistance even just after a blade is exchanged, so that a lubricating action is sufficiently carried out, chattering, damaging, inversion, etc., on both end parts of the blade are prevented, and the stable cleaning can be carried out. |
