<p>PURPOSE:To produce a thick laminate, which otherwise would not be obtained by a single step of heating and pressing, by heating and pressing a plurality of prepregs into a laminate, and placing prepregs on opposite surfaces of the laminate followed by heating and pressing. CONSTITUTION:A number of prepregs are stacked, the number being in a range possible to be molded and laminated in a single step, and are heated and pressed into a laminate having a certain thickness, and further prepregs are put on the opposite surfaces of the laminate followed by heating and pressing. Although if too many prepregs are stacked, they would collapse or the molding would be ineffectively carried out because heat would not be conveyed from hot plates to the central part of the prepregs, in the present method, since the laminate is thickened in stepwise, a rather thick laminate can be produced.</p> |
