PURPOSE:To correct an arc position in a real time and with high accuracy by detecting the waveform of an arc voltage or the welding current of a preceding electrode and a succeeding electrode for executing a rotation, and executing a groove profile control for fillet welding, based on the variation of the detected waveform. CONSTITUTION:A weld line 9 is brought to fillet welding by rotating at high speed the preceding and succeeding electrodes 10L, 10T attached to X and Y axes profile mechanisms 12, 13, and a waveform of an arc voltage or a welding current is detected. Waveforms of the electrodes 10L, 10T are fetched only within a prescribed angle phi1 in the L side and the T side, respectively, based on a front point Cf as a reference, and a shift quantity in the X axis direction is corrected by the profile mechanism 12, so that the difference SL-SR of areas SL, SR of the waveforms made within the angle phi1 becomes equal to a reference value. Also, the waveforms of the electrodes 10L, 10T are fetched only within a prescribed angle phi2, based on the point Cf as a reference, and a shift quantity in the Y direction is corrected by the profile mechanism 13, so that the sum (Sl+St) of areas (Sl+St) of the waveforms made within the angle phi2 becomes equal to the reference value. In such way, an arc position can be corrected in a real time and with high accuracy. |
