PURPOSE:To enhance the density of the fiber-reinforced ceramic, and to enable to further heighten the toughness of a molded product. CONSTITUTION:In the first charging process, ceramic whiskers 3 are mainly distributed on the surfaces of the fiber bundles 2 or in the fiber bundles 2 of a fiber bundle body comprising two-dimensionally or three-dimensional1y assembled fiber bundles 2. In the second charging process, ceramic fibers 4 are mainly charged in spaces between the fiber bundles. In the third charging process, a ceramic matrix is subsequently charged in spaces excluding the above- mentioned spaces by a gas phase growth method. |
