CARBON-CONTAINING BASIC REFRACTORY

摘要

PURPOSE:To compensate the defects of carbonaceous stock and to allow carbon- contg. basic refractories to satisfactorily exhibit excellent characteristics in the field of metallurgy. CONSTITUTION:A refractory material contg. 5-30wt.% carbonaceous stock and 70-95wt.% basic refractory stock is prepd. and titanium diboride is added to the refractory material by 0.1-10wt.% or metallic Al is further added by 0.1-10wt.%. The oxidation and spalling resistance of the resulting carbon-contg. basic refractories can be enhanced from the inside and outside.
