PURPOSE:To particularly improve preservability of light resistance, oil resistance, etc., incorporating at least one type of bisbenzotriazole represented by a specific general formula in a color developing layer having color developing compound and developer for color developing the compound. CONSTITUTION:Thermal recording material comprises a color developing layer containing normally colorless or light-color developing compound and developer for color developing the compound at the time of heating. In this case, at least one type of bisbenzotriazole represented by shown general formula is contained in the layer. In the formula, R1 is 1-8C alkylidene group, R2 is 1-18C alkyl group or 7-18C aralkyl group, and X is aralkyl group or alkoxy group having 1-18 of hydrogen atoms, halogen atoms or carbon atoms. Thus, even if it is exposed to illumination of sunshine or a fluorescent lamp, etc., for a long time, color erasing of a color developed part and discoloring of a skin are prevented. |
