PURPOSE:To provide a remote monitoring system which can secure the sure and easy matching of clocks between a remote device and a center device and also can surely perform the correct time processing for the remote device. CONSTITUTION:A remote device is connected to center device via a communication circuit. Then the remote device stores the state data to be monitored in a memory 13R by the start of an internal clock 11R and sends the acquired daily report data or the state change data top the center device. The center device sends the time data acquired by its clock 11C to the remote device when the daily report data are received from the remote device. The remote device corrects the time of its clock 11R based on the received time data. Then the matching of clocks is carried out once per day between the center and remote devices. At the same time, it is required to pay regard to prevention of the omission of data or the double processing when the correct time processing is carried out at the remote device. |
