PURPOSE:To prevent the time display from disturbing the confirmation of a subject by making a design of the time information shown in an electronic virewfinder(EVF). CONSTITUTION:A camera main body is provided with an EVF unit, etc., and the information shown on a monitor screen in a design instead of the numeric characters. That is, one hour is divided into four sections, 11:50-12:10, 12:05-12:20, 12:20-12:40 and 12:40-12:50. Then each of these time sections is representatively shown in the form of a design. This clock display is defined at the lower right part of a monitor screen as shown in Fig. (B), for example, and consists of a bit pattern shown in Fig. (C), for example, where the '1' parts form a character part. This clock display is carried out by a system control circuit which functions as a time information processing means. |
