PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored composition which shows an excellent color reproducibility, heat resistance and light resistance. SOLUTION: The colored composition contains a dye of formula (I) wherein A is a group of formula (II) [wherein R1 is hydrogen or a substituent; R2 is a substituent; Z1 is a non-metal element required for forming a nitrogen- containing 6-membered heterocyclic ring; and * represents the position of linkage with a methine group within formula (I)]; R3, R4, R5 and R6 are each independently hydrogen or a substituent; R7 and R8 are each independently hydrogen, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, an acyl group, an alkyl sulfonyl group or an aryl sulfonyl group; and n is an integer of 0-3}. |
