POLYACETAL MOLDED ARTICLE WITH FUNCTIONAL MEMBER OF DIRECT INTEGRATED FORMING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a molded article with a directly molded-on functional mem ber without requiring the addition of an adhesive layer or mechanical fixation by a combination of a directly molded-on functional member containing an elastomer including hydrogenated nitrile rubber, silicone rubber or sulfur- containing rubber and polyacetal. SOLUTION: A functional member contains at least one kind of an elastomer which contains partially or wholly hydrogenated nitrile rubber, one-component or multicomponent silicone subber or sulfur-containing rubber. By using this elastomer, a sealing or damping member can be directly and integrally molded on a POM molded article without further requiring an assembling stage. A processing stage required in the assembling of the functional member heretofore can be avoided and considerable cost reduction in the production of a novel molded article and in assembling thereof can be achieved.
