PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a manufacturing cost for a cassette storing a strip medium such as a thermal ink transfer film used in a printer for thermal ink transfer recording. SOLUTION: A cassette case consists of a body part 2 having a pair of mutually opposed bobbin storage parts and lid parts 3 interconnected to each other through a thin wall part (α) on the outer edge of each of the bobbin storage parts 2a. The bobbins 5, 6 are set in the bobbin storage parts of the body part 2 respectively, and are fixed by folding the lid parts 3 at the thin wall part (α). Since the cassette case is structured with a single part, only one molding the for preparing the cassette case has to be used, so that a molding cost is lowered and the resin consumption is reduced with the simplification of an assembly work.
