PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas insulating switchgear which can suppress the abnormal increase in the internal pressure without emitting the gas in a container into the atmosphere when an accident occurs in the container. SOLUTION: A container A2 which is estimated to have the abnormal increase in the internal pressure when an accident occurs in the inside is a special container and a container A3 which can be connected to the special container A2 to absorb the internal pressure of the special container. A hollow section 'h' is formed in a conductor B2b buried in an insulating spacer B2 which partitions a space between the special container A2 and the container A3 for absorbing the pressure according to the gas and a bursting device D is installed in the hollow section 'h'. By this method, the bursting device D is operated when the internal presure of the special container A2 increases due to an accident occuring in the container A2 to let the gas in the special container A2 flow into the container A3 for absorbing pressure. |
