Magenta and yellow dye set for imaging systems

A dye set comprises a magenta, yellow and cyan dye. The normalised spectral transmission density distribution curve of the magenta dye has a density of 0.25-0.93 at 520 nm, 0.9-1.0 at 540 nm and 0.9-1.0 at 560 nm. The yellow dye has a density of 0.9-1.0 at 450 nm and 0.8-1.0 at 470 nm. Preferably the spectral curve of the magenta dye has a density of 0.25-0.86 at 510 nm. The spectral curve of the yellow dye has a density of 0.5-0.9 at 490 nm. The dye set contains an achromatic dye.
