The mesh bars (2) running in one direction have an open profile which has two outward folded rims (6) on the same plane. The mesh bars (1) running in the other direction either have an open or a closed profile with at least one smooth profile wall. The two sets of mesh bars are joined together by welding, preferably spot welding or projection welding. The mesh bars which have two folded edges are joined by stamping.
