PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional image detector utilizing the operation of an electronic shutter that can accurately detect the distance up to an object without being affected by the temperature of the circuit of the detector. SOLUTION: A buffer circuit of a light emitting element control circuit 44 is provided in a silicon chip in which a CCD drive circuit 30 is integrated. An input/output propagation delay time and a temperature characteristic of an LD buffer circuit are selected nearly equal to those of the CCD drive circuit. The pulse signal Pd0 outputted from a system control circuit 35 to control a light emitting element (LD) is once given to the LD buffer circuit provide in the CCD drive circuit 30. The pulse signal Pd1 outputted corresponding to the pulse signal Pd0 controls the light emitting element control circuit 44.
