The chair comprises a first chair part (1) with a first seat and a first backrest, and a second chair part with a second seat (10) and a second backrest (18), the second seat being releasably secured to the second backrest. The two backrests are essentially the same shape and the second seat can be placed beneath the first seat, in between the chair legs. The legs for the first part have a cavity beneath the first seat to enable them to support the second seat. Means are provided in the second seat for securing the second backrest to the first backrest when the second seat is beneath the first seat. The two front legs joined to the second seat can be folded away against the underside of the side. |
