PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal light cooling an illumination light source efficiently, and preventing leaking of the light having an influence on other objects. SOLUTION: This horizontal light where an illumination light source 15 and a reflector 16 are set in a case 11 has a filter 14 permeate illumination light projected from the illumination light source 15 and the reflector 16. Also the horizontal light has a cooling gas intake vent with plural intake slits 13a1-13a4 provided in the bottom surface of the case 11 to incorporate the cooling gas for the illumination light source 15, exhaust vents 12a1-12a4 provided on the upper surface 12 of the case 11 for exhausting the cooling gas within the case 11, and light shielding plates 17a-17b embedded between the respective intake slits 13a1-13a4 of the cooling gas intake vent. Thus, the light shielding plates 17a-17d of the light shielding device of the horizontal light shield the direct light from the illumination light source 15 and the reflector 16, and the reflected light which is projected from the illumination light source 15 and reflected from the filter 14. |
