<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by reducing the defective seal function of a seal part. SOLUTION: A cylindrical socket part 1 and a cylindrical nip part 2 positioned in the socket part 1 are arranged on one side, and a screw part 3 in which a joint member is screwed in a communication hole 5 to communicate the hollow part 2a of the nipple part 2 to the screw part 3, and a seal part 6 formed at the opening edge part of the communication hole 5 are arranged on the other end side. In the so formed metal fitting for a hose, the shape of a seal part is set such that an approximate shape is formed by effecting plastic working of a single material, and when the joint member is threadely engaged with the screw part for assembly and when fastening is started from a state wherein a member on the joint member side makes contact with the seal part, the shape of the seal part is set such that in a case of fastening torque being 1.0 kgf.m, the rotation angle of the joint member is 72 deg. or more, and in a case of fastening torque being 2.0 kgf.m, after rotation is effected such that the rotation angle of the joint member is 96 deg. or more, fastening is completed.</p> |
