<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting welding state of laser beam welding for a laser beam torch which is compact and light weighted as well, excellent in operability and suitable for mounting on a robot. SOLUTION: At the time of laser beam welding, reflected light beams Lr and plasma beams Lp, which are welding light beams emitted from a work 800, are acquired optically coaxially with a laser projecting beam Lw through an optical system in a laser torch 603. The acquired reflected light beams Lr and plasma beams Lp are transmitted to the outside of the laser torch through an optical fiber 202. The transmitted reflected light beams Lr and plasma beams Lp are submitted to photoelectric conversion by a sensor 303 for reflected light beam and a sensor 304 for plasma beam, and based on electric signals according to the reflected beams Lr and plasma beams Lp, the welding state in the work 800 is detected.</p> |
