<p>Oil bath filter for the air intake of internal combustion engine has a central pipe (17), pref. of plastic, in a housing and a cylindrical filter element (18) fastened on the pipe. The housing is sealed at its geodetic lower end with a plastic cover (13), which can be attached to the housing by snap closure or latch fitting member (14). A locking member (19) at the same time forms the base of the filter element and extends into the plastic cover. Pref. the locking member is attached o the central pipe by a bayonet fitting (20). A seal (22) is positioned between the house and the cover or housing or cover has a sealing lip.</p> |
