PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spread spectrum communication equipment for realizing asynchronous access without using fast timing control while keeping high speed properties in synchronization acquisition in the case of accessing to a base station from a plurality of transmission stations by using the same spread code and the same frequency band. SOLUTION: A receiver for receiving a transmitted signal which is transmitted asynchronously by using the same spread code and the same frequency band and consists of a transmission frame having a prescribed synchronizing pattern part and a data part has a first symbol matched filter 5 having the tap of each symbol time and performing the correlation detection of each period between a synchronizing pattern part in a received signal by using a prescribed reference pattern and a second symbol matched filter 6 having the tap of each symbol time and performing the common-mode synthesis of each symbol period between the synchronizing pattern part in the received signal by using the prescribed reference pattern in addition to a matched filter 3 corresponding to the spread signal.
