PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter forming method for a plasma display panel, offering simple steps, facilitating the recovery of materials and improving the utilization rate of the materials. SOLUTION: The forming method comprises a first step of mixing a photosensitive material 4, having adhesiveness changed by the irradiation of an ultraviolet ray with a pigment 5 and laminating a transparent film 6, onto which it is applied, on a front plate 7 of the plasma display panel, a second step of irradiating the photosensitive material 4 applied onto the transparent film 6 with the ultraviolet ray 8 using a predetermined mask 8, and a third step of peeling off the transparent film 6 from the front plate 7 of the plasma display panel, while leaving the photosensitive material and the pigment in an area 9 of the ultraviolet ray irradiation on the front plate 7. |
