PURPOSE: A fluorescent plane of a color image-receiving tube is provided to secure luminance uniformity by constructing in a manner that width of a fluorescent layer at a portion where screens are overlapped with each other is narrower than the width of a fluorescent layer at a portion where screens are not overlapped with each other. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent plane of a color image-receiving tube is constructed in such a manner that the width of a fluorescent stripe placed at a boundary at which divided screens of a screen are overlapped with each other is narrower than the widths of fluorescent stripes located at other portions of the divided screens.
