PURPOSE: A process of preparing fried rice cake(kangjeong, Korean native name) by adding kelp during production of fried rice cake is provided, thereby imparting characteristic flavor and satisfying customer's preferences. CONSTITUTION: Kelp is washed, cut to a specified size and dried. A mixture of 5 to 10% by weight of starch sugar, 3 to 5% by weight of Lentinus edodes powder and 2 to 5% by weight of ginger powder is added to 80 to 90% by weight of the kelp, fried in oil and attached with 0 to 5% by weight of sugar, sesame and seasoning.
