PURPOSE: A memory access processor is provided, which improves an access rate by making a PGA(Programmable Gate Array) to judge it is possible to access when writing into a memory in a page mode. CONSTITUTION: A PGA(Programmable Gate Array)(30) is placed between a micro processor(10) and a memory(20) to control address, data, chip selector(CS) and read/write within it. A signal determining whether to write into a memory is made by a value from a timer and a value from a comparator part made by comparing an address signal of an address latch part with a higher address signal by latching the higher address with a chip selector memory and a read/write. The above signal enables the address, data, CS and read/write to go to the memory, and in case of read, the latch passes through the address, data, chip selector memory and read/write. In case of a DMA(Direct Memory Access) cycle, a delay is made by controlling the timer and thus the micro processor determines whether to continue to write by reading the signal. Thus, the PGA judges whether to access the memory automatically and thus an access rate is increased.
