PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow communications to be performed by a down-line-loaded error-free program. SOLUTION: This digital satellite communication system by which data is transmitted and received between a HUB station 101 and two or more of VSAT stations 102 to 104 or between each of the VSAT stations via a communication satellite 107, is provided with a digital signal processing means 21 to perform demodulation for the VSAT stations, a ROM 24 to store a default program 14 performing demodulation for the VSAT stations at the starting, a rewritable memory 25 to store an application program 17 for changing a demodulation performed between the VSAT stations, an error check/rewriting means 28 for rewriting a memory which checks errors of the latest program 113 down-line-loaded from the HUB station and rewrites it into the error-free latest program 16, a reception logic means 30 to perceive the reception of signals from the HUB based on the demodulation for the VSAT stations at the starting, and a switching control part 26 for switching loading of the default program to loading of the application program based on the reception perception of signals from the HUB. |
