PURPOSE:To provide a heat shielding coating method applied to a metallic member in contact with high temp. gas. CONSTITUTION:In a heat shielding coating method applied to a metallic member in contact with high temp. gas, after a metallic member 1 is coated with a MCrAlY layer 2 (M: Ni and/or Co) by low pressure plasma spraying, a ZrO2-Y2 O3 layer 3 is subjected to atmospheric plasma spraying. Further, inorganic glaze 4 (if necessary, ZrO2-Y2O3 is mixed in.) is applied with a brush before it is sintered, or it is directly thermal-sprayed, allowing heat shielding coating for preventing high temp. oxidation to be applied. In this way, the time that it takes for the ZrO2-Y2O3 layer 3 to be peeled is prolonged. |
