PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information terminal, a connection support server, a connection support system and a program, by which setting for connecting an information terminal to a provider is performed without having a user perform complicated setting to the information terminal and without having a sales shop side take time and labor in setting work. SOLUTION: The telephone number of the connection support server is stored in the information terminal beforehand. When the user turns on the power of the information terminal, the information terminal is connected to the connection support server by a telephone and acquires information required for connecting a network from the connection support server and further, the information terminal itself performs the setting for connecting the network on the basis of the acquired information.
