<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reproduce stream data from a position immediately before switching to the other input when switching to the other input is performed while viewing the stream data and the input is returned to the stream data again. <P>SOLUTION: When the input is switched to DTV broadcasting which is received by an antenna 2 while reproducing a video stream transmitted from a video server 10, a receiver 1 requests the reproduction stop of the video stream to the video server 10 and stores the information of a position to stop reproducing the video stream. When the input is switched to the video stream side again in the receiver 1, the reproduction restart of the video stream which is reproduced immediately before the last switching of the input is requested from the receiver 1 to the video server 10.
