PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a seedling-raising pot which has simple structure, can be easily produced, can be simply attached with an isolated label while the label cannot easily be removed, and can stably hold the inserted label. SOLUTION: This method for producing the seedling-raising pot comprises forming a continuous belt type label-inserting part continued in the radial direction from a label inserting part 22 recessed inside, at a lower part than an opening edge 21 of inclined peripheral walls 20 of the seedling-raising pot comprising a bottom wall and the inclined peripheral walls 20, piling up a plurality thereof, and secondarily processing to form an incision hole 23a or a narrow slit hole.
