<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor device of an automatic door having a compact and simple structure and capable of being easily attached and removed and ensuring safety in the vicinity of the door at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: An opening and closing control part 10 is composed of a door engine controller 12, a sensor 1 for start and a sensor 2 for safety for detecting a human body, and a signal processing circuit 13. The signal processing circuit 13 is provided with a start means 14 for outputting a start signal for opening the door when the start sensor 1 detects a human body, and a safety maintaining means 15 for outputting a maintaining signal for opening the door when the sensor 2 for safety detects a human body.
