<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method which can certainly prevent a stain by ink droplet impact interference from occurring and can achieve the formation of a high image-quality and high definition image, and an image recording device. <P>SOLUTION: In this image recording method, a treatment liquid 110 containing a polymer compound with a cationic group and an aromatic ring, is supplied to the surface of a recording medium 16.
