INKJET RECORDING MEDIUM AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve glossiness, printer carrying properties, curling characteristics before and after printing and resistance to bleeding after printing.

SOLUTION: An inkjet recording medium comprises an intermediate layer on one face of a substrate, a back surface resin layer on a face on an opposite side of a face on which the intermediate layer is provided by placing a base material between them, and at least one ink absorbing layer on the intermediate layer. In this inkjet recording medium, moisture permeation rate of the substrate having the intermediate layer and the back surface resin layer is ≥100 g/m2and ≤5,000 g/m2, and surface roughness Ra on the face side provided with the intermediate layer of the substrate (reference length is 4 mm and cutoff value is 0.8 mm) is ≥0.05 μm and ≤0.20 μm.
