<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system detecting the abnormalities of a fuel cell, while driving, which can be operated without making a driver feel uncomfortable. <P>SOLUTION: On the fuel cell system that generates power by using hydrogen-rich fuel cell and oxidant containing oxygen, an operating pressure difference between fuel gas pressure at a fuel electrode (anode) and oxidant gas pressure at oxidant electrode (cathode) is set up by a pressure control means of a control unit 100 so as to reduce the hydrogen concentration, when the hydrogen concentration exceeds a prescribed hydrogen concentration 1 threshold detected by a hydrogen concentration sensor (hydrogen concentration detection means) 20 for detecting the hydrogen concentration, arranged on an air exhaust flow passage 15 located on the downstream side of the oxidant electrode (cathode) of a fuel cell stack 1, while driving. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
