<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion battery using a ceramic separator capable of preventing increase of resistance without increasing the thickness of an electrode assembly while using an existing separation film. <P>SOLUTION: In a jelly-roll type electrode assembly 300 of this lithium ion secondary battery using the ceramic separator, the ceramic separator is formed on at least one surface out of four surfaces of two electrode plates, and separate porous separation films 340 are interlaid together, from the innermost side of a rolling core 305, in a part, within a part where the two electrode plates of the electrode assembly face to each other, where the ceramic separator is interlaid and having a relatively small curvature radius, whereby safety is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
