PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding member used in an oil bath atmosphere, being usable as engine parts used in a field of severe usage, subjected to about 1000 N or more load, in a high-temperature oil bath atmosphere, improving in friction resistance, wear resistance, attack resistance, scuffing resistance, and corrosion resistance, requiring no surface treatment and cleavage performance and achieving lower machining cost. SOLUTION: The sliding member used in the oil bath atmosphere, which has a sliding face relatively sliding in contact with the sliding face of another member in the oil bath atmosphere comprises being engine parts 1 having a thickness (t) of 0.1 mm or more, formed in a spinel structure. |
