<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a request driving force(request braking force) requested for traveling, and to suppress transmission shock in changing a speed. <P>SOLUTION: When the speed change request of a transmission for shifting the output of a motor MG2 in a status that an accelerator is turned off, and for outputting it to a drive axle is made (S130), a torque to be output from a motor MG1 for suppressing the rotational frequency of an engine is limited by torque limitation Tlim so that a braking torque with lower limit limitation Tset or more can be output from the motor MG2 (S160, S170), and the torque to be output from the motor MG2 is limited by the lower limit limitation Tset (S190, S200).
