<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for stabilizing the behavior of a vehicle capable of detecting the understeering state and the oversteering state of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This device comprises an actual steering angle detection means 35, a vehicular speed detection means 16, a transverse acceleration sensor 17, a target yaw rate operation means 20, a yaw rate sensor 18, and a vehicle control means 29.
