<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing method that protect secrecy and privacy by reliably erasing image data stored in an image storage memory with simple constitution after image formation (printing). <P>SOLUTION: An image on a document read by a scanner 11 is stored as image data in the image data storage memory 21, and read out of the image data storage memory by a CPU 22, and an image forming unit 12b forms an image on a form based upon the image data.
